Empower Inclusive — “Network Your Future: Confidence, Connections & Erasmus+”

Summary

The workshop strengthened participants’ job readiness across three tracks: (1) AI for careers, (2) job-ready social media & digital presence, and (3) linking personal goals to SDG-aligned pathways (e.g., Quality Education, Decent Work, Reduced Inequalities). The design directly supports project priorities on employability, digital transformation, and AI/data usage, and mirrors the programme’s plan for online dialogue workshops with hands-on AI demos and career guidance.

What we covered

  • AI for careers: Quick safety primer (when/not to use AI), prompt structure, and live practice to draft one outreach message and upgrade two CV bullets; using AI to summarise an opportunity and verify on the source page.
  • Job-ready social media: Personal branding basics ,mapping skills to keywords, posts that show evidence and privacy/safety habits; we also framed social media as a dissemination and networking channel reflected in the project’s communication plan.
  • SDG lens: Short activity to connect each participant’s interests to SDG-relevant roles (e.g., community education, inclusive hiring, language access), then translate that into a one-line purpose statement for CV/LinkedIn.

Outcomes (evidence of learning)

  • Three artefacts per participant: a targeted outreach message, two impact-focused CV bullets, and a five-line “opportunity brief” (deadline, eligibility, action step).
  • Competences strengthened: information/data literacy, digital content creation, communication & tone control, online safety, and problem-solving—core to the project’s digital readiness priority.
  • Inclusion: Simple English, translation support,

Monitoring

We used quick polls and artefact reviews that feed into programme KPIs (e.g., ≥80% “very/extremely beneficial” for workshops; aim for ~30% capacity increase in digital skills via pre/post checks).
